This event is in the past.
For the club's November meeting we will be visiting Hop Farm Brewing Company in Lawrenceville. Please make a note of the venue change - this meeting was originally scheduled to take place at Helicon Brewing but they aren't quite yet ready to start brewing, so we'll be meeting there sometime next year instead.
Remember that officer elections will be held at this meeting for the positions of Vice President and Secretary. The nominees are Chris Marasti-Georg for VP and Malcolm Frazer for Secretary. They are running uncontested. Malcolm has agreed to serve again given there were no nominees for the secretary position, but he'd gladly step aside if someone shows up to the meeting and nominates him or herself.
As is always the case, please bring homebrew to share. Bring it in any format - bottles, growlers, kegs, canteens, leather satchels, sheep bladders, whatever you usually carry your beer in. Bring beer, share it with friends, get feedback.
In lieu of a homebrewing technical discussion, at this meeting we'll take a tour of the shiny new brewery and allow Chris to talk about his transition from homebrewer to production brewery owner & operator. Come armed with your best questions!
Note the date & time of this meeting has changed from the tentative date mentioned in previous contacts. We were listing this meeting as being on Saturday, November 21st but our friends in the Butler Area Society of Homebrewers (BASH) recently announced they'll be holding their annual competition on that day, so we elected to move the TRASH meeting to Sunday the 22nd to allow everyone to attend both events if you want to. (BASH needs judges, stewards, and entries. Sign up at the link above.)
See you at Helicon!
