Instead of buying Belgian Candy Syrup for $7-8, I have had great results using Palm Sugar and Crystal Candy Sugar. The price is only $1.39/14 ounces. Palm sager that I get at the Oriental Market on McKnight Road is from Thailand, and the same place has Crystal Candy sugars from China. I melt them down in distilled water and add to my Belgian beers, or any big beer at that, with very good results. Let me know what you Brewers use....maybe you make your own??
