Our hens got back to work this week, leaving us with a temporary glut of eggs (since we'd just bought some from the farm). I decided to make some eggnog generally following Alton Brown's recipe.
Does this need to be aged in the fridge, as suggested at the end of the recipe? I was under the impression that the alcohol content would keep it safe during the maturing process.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
